    SciComm Outreach talk

What is beauty, and why does it move us? What happens in the brain when we look at a painting, hear music, or watch a dancer move? In this talk, I explain the neuroscience of beauty and art. We’ll explore how the brain responds to symmetry, colour, pattern, and emotion. What does it mean when something “feels right” or “takes our breath away”? And is beauty simply in the eye of the beholder—or hardwired into our biology?
